CITAG is a Society formed by a group of citizens in Bangalore with the aim of working towards improved governance in various sectors that affect the lives of citizens in the city and beyond. Primarily, the group aims to work on technology-assisted solutions to persistent civic and governance problems. The concept is that citizens need to get involved in solving problems, rather than restricting their activism to complaints and protests. The technical and managerial talent available in society can be leveraged in this problem-solving process, thus benefiting citizens as well as government which is often hard pressed to efficiently and effectively solve the seemingly insurmountable problems.
